Founding bassist of the Kinks, Pete Quaife, died on Friday, June 25. The cause of death is still uncertain, but BBC reported he had been undergoing dialysis for some time. Quaife was 66 years old.
Being an original member of the Kinks, Quaife played on classic tracks like ‘You Really Got Me’ and ‘Lola’. He left the band in 1969.After his departure, he formed a band called Mapleoak, but the band never succeeded in commercial success.

Recently, Arizona has been receiving a lot of heat for the immigration law SB 1070. The law orders immigrants to carry their alien registration documents at all times and requires police to question people if there's reason to suspect they're in the United States illegally.
The controversial legislature got the music community talking and Rage Against the Machine front-man, Zack De La Rocha, took matters into his own hands. Rocha has organized a musical boycott of Arizona called the The Sound Strike.
We know you’re just as excited about the upcoming Arcade Fire album as we are; so, here at Harmelody.com we’ve dug up some places to catch tracks that are featured on their third album, ‘The Suburbs’. Drake is most definitely making an impact in the hip hop world.
Since dropping his mix tape, So far Gone last year the hype surrounding this young rap star is growing tremendously. Last week, the force of Drake was translated into sales. The Young Money rapper hit the charts at no. 1, as expected, selling an impressive 447,000 copies.
