Katy Perry has been hard at work on her next album, which was announced to be dropped on August 24 under the title “Teenage Dream.” The album’s lead single was recently released and is called “California Gurls.” It was revealed that Perry gathered inspiration for the song from last year’s East coast based hit “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z.

The new album, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” doesn’t even have a full track listing yet, but the “Twi-hards” have already voted it number 25 on Amazon’s Bestsellers list.
