U2 frontman Bono has undergone emergency back surgery at a hospital in Munich, Germany. 
The rocker was taken to a medical facility on Friday after sustaining an injury during preparation for the band's world tour. U2 is due to start the North American leg of its 360 Degree trek on June 3rd, but it is not yet clear whether singer Bono will recover in time for the concerts.
Bob Dylan's 1965 hit Like A Rolling Stone has topped a new list of the Greatest Songs of All Time. 
Rolling Stone magazine editors and contributors have spent months piecing together the ultimate top 500 list and Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited track has beaten out The Rolling Stones' (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction to the number one spot. John Lennon's Imagine comes in at three, while What's Going On by Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin's 1967 anthem Respect round out the top five.

Limp Bizkit are postponing a string of summer concerts - so they can move the U.S. tour into bigger arena venues. The rockers have scrapped gig plans for July and August in a bid to give fans "the best experience possible" and are in the process of working out new dates.
In a series of posts on Twitter.com, frontman Fred Durst explains, "Moving U.S. headlining tour dates from amphitheatres to arenas for a better Limp experience. Basically, Limp is not an amphitheatre band. We like to see less seats in front of the stage and more floor filled with fans going bananas. It's just more fun for all of us that way. Some bands are meant to be seen mainly sitting down, but definitely NOT Limp Bizkit.

Heavy metal rocker Ronnie James Dio has lost his battle with stomach cancer. He was 67.
The Heaven & Hell star passed away at a hospital in Houston, Texas on Sunday.
His wife Wendy initially denied internet reports the rocker had died earlier in the day, but revealed he was "not doing good" - and now his partner admits she is heartbroken over the loss of her beloved husband.
