Lady Gaga postponed her recently scheduled West Lafayette Indiana concert just minutes before the curtain was supposed to rise.  Her tour promoter announced afterwards that several other shows  of her Monster Ball Tour would also be re-scheduled.  Her doctor is reportedly supplying a note.

Relying on the popular media of the moment, Gaga apologized to her fans via the social media site Twitter, barely making it to the 140 character limit before needing to take a moment.

MTV Networks will air "Hope For Haiti" on Friday, January 22nd at 8pm ET/PT.  The show will be hosted by George Clooney, Wyclef Jean and CNN's Anderson Cooper.

The telethon will raise funds to benefit Oxfam America, Partners in Health, UNICEF, and Wyclef's Yele Haiti Foundation.  Yele Haiti has already raised $2 million through text-message donations.  By texting "Yele" to 501501, mobile users can donate $5 to help relief efforts.

The show will feature performances and celebrity appearances and will air commercial free across ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, MTV, VH1 and CMT.
